Rooted in Community

Twelve Prairies believes that the experts in any community are the people who live it. Our programs are built around that principle — listening to elders, amplifying their wisdom, and creating pathways for youth to connect with their heritage and their neighbors.

Elder Connections

Structured gatherings that bring elders and youth together for storytelling, cultural education, and mentorship. We believe the wisdom of our elders is one of our most valuable community resources.

Youth Outreach

Programs designed to help young people discover their roots, build confidence, and find their place within the broader community. We meet youth where they are and walk alongside them.

Community Gatherings
